Your pet is important to us. Because we care, we want to assure you that every effort will be taken to make your pets visit as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Due to the unpredictable behavior of animals, situations arise that are unexpected.
I agree to the following:
- The pet is fit and healthy.
- Grooming which takes place on an elderly pet will be at the owner's risk.
- Grooming may expose pre-existing health/skin conditions for which Pampered Pooch Grooming & Boutique LLC cannot be held liable.
- The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
- In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Pampered Pooch Groooming & Boutique LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
- Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, apple pay or credit card. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the groom. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
- If your pet is severely tangled and/or matted, it is a greater risk of injury, stress and trauma. We do NOT recommend full demating as it is very traumatic for your dog. We will put your dogs health before vanity. All precautions will be taken. However, problems occasionally arise, during or after grooming, such as nicks, clipper irritation, hematomas and stress.
- “De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Pampered Pooch Grooming & Boutique LLC can not be held liable.
- Dogs with undercoat should not recieve a full body haircut unless the haircut is above the undercoat. If you still wish to receive a shorter haircut despite our proffesional opinion, alopecia (the hair not growing back properly) is possible.
- Pampered Pooch is not liable for any sickness your dog may contract. Do not bring your dog to an appointment if your dog is showing signs of illness such as coughing, sneezing, vomiting or diarrhea.
- Please walk your dog before the grooming appointment to avoid accidents. If your dog uses the bathroom outside of our salon, please do not leave feces. There is a waste station located on the side of our building to keep our community clean. If your dog has an accident on the sidewalk and you need help cleaning the feces properly, please let one of staff members know.
Payment
- I understand that due to the nature of pet grooming all quoted prices prior to actually grooming my pet are only estimates. Final price will depend on the temperament of each pet and the condition of its coat. Upon physical inspection of my pet by the groomer, a good faith estimated price will be provided. Extra charges may apply for pets that are matted and/or difficult to manage.
- We ask that you pick your pooch up promptly after recieving the 20 minutes phone call or text. Failure to come within one hour of this notification will result in a late pickup fee of $10 unless previously spoken about prior to booking to make arrangements. each extra hour will be an additional charge. We do not have the kennel space to hold on to dogs for long periods of time and do not walk dogs.
- If late pickup occurs after we close for the day you will be charged $20-$30 depending on how late the pickup is. If late pickup reaches one hour we close, the charge will be more.
Cancellations
We understand sometimes life does not go according to plan, however, in our efforts to provide exceptional service to all of our clients we kindly request that if you need to cancel you do so with 24 hours of your appointment. Failure to give required notice will result in a no-show/ last minute cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service appointment. After a no-show/ last minute cancellation, you will be required to pay a non refundable deposit of 50% at the time of booking.
No-Shows
It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule. Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.
